Traveling through Post – III

And this marks the last batch of collected postcards…

P.S.
I’ve decided to continue to post them in batches of 10 or so as I receive them. This post is the only exception to that.

Traveling through Post – II

Here is the second post on the next ten postcards in my collection…

It’s amazing the variety of postcards! Why is it that I’ve only been able to find standard-sized postcards in the States?? Alas, I don’t even have the artistic ability to make my own…

NOTE: I will be posting these TTP posts in increments of 10 postcards until I have posted up all the ones I’ve received. After which, I will post them one at a time as I receive them (and find the time to put them up).

Traveling through Post – I

I love to travel and I love adventures. Unfortunately, because I’ve been caught up in Real Life and am keeping up with a full-time job, I frankly don’t have the time I would need to take off for a bit and explore this wonderful world of ours. As such, not too long ago, I heard about postcrossing, a site that lets you send and receive postcards from someone random on Earth. I’ve been doing it for a couple of months now and decided that perhaps it was time to keep track of some of them.

Here are some recent postcards I’ve received, most of which were through postcrossing.

It’s nice to see everyone’s handwritten messages and the stamps from every country! Personal experiences are nice but in a time and age where snail mail is on the decline, having something to hold also gives it that personal touch. In a sense, I have a little piece of that country.

I guess I can be happy with this. 🙂 It’s a lot cheaper than getting a ride on a plane! One day, though…
